Bear Lake and Fruitland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bear Lake had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Grizzlies. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Bear Lake saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sharli Lufkin had 15 digs.

Bear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 34-4. As for Fruitland, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Bear Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Filer on the 31st.
