Softball Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

The Calvary Christian Cougars came up short against the Williamstown Demons on Saturday, falling 24-14. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Wright was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Sydney Browning was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Calvary Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Williamstown, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will take on Newport Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Williamstown, they will face off against Nicholas County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
