Mohawk never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Elmwood Royals 10-0. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Mohawk got a massive performance out of Emily Brickner, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Mallory Brickner, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Mohawk always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elmwood only posted an OBP of .167.

Mohawk's record is now 21-3. As for Elmwood, they moved to 20-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Mohawk and Elmwood should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 61st) will meet Bucyrus (ranked 551st) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Elmwood will take on Huron at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (154 vs. 347).
