Bolivar Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Covington Chargers and fell 62-7. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Bolivar Central now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Covington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Bolivar Central will head out on the road to square off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Covington, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dyersburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
