Basketball Recap: Trinity Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Emporia, Trinity Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the El Dorado Wildcats with a 45-41 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, El Dorado had strong showings from Sam Greene, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, and Zac Jacobs, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points and seven boards. Jaxon Sheffler also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Trinity Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for El Dorado, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Trinity Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-38 win against Manhattan HomeSchool CHIEF on the 25th. As for El Dorado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-47 victory against Arkansas City on the 25th.
