Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pickens). They walked away with a 6-4 victory over the Landrum Cardinals on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Caleb Allen as he scored three goals for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Pickens and bumps their season record up to 4-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Landrum, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Pickens has already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Daniel on the 25th. As for Landrum, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against High Point Academy on the 28th.
