Softball Recap: Chewelah Takes a Loss

Chewelah and Northwest Christian School pushed the score to 18-9 the last time they played Northwest Christian School, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Cougars fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-0. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Chewelah's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Northwest Christian School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

While Chewelah had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
