Preview: Deer Park Wildcats vs. Reading Blue Devils
The Deer Park Wildcats will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Reading Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Deer Park suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Madeira on the road and fell 64-35.
Meanwhile, Reading came up short against Mariemont on Tuesday and fell 45-33. While losing is never fun, Reading can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 516th, while Mariemont is ranked 90th).
Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Reading, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Things could have been worse for Deer Park, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-42 loss to Reading when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Deer Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
