Auburn won the last time they faced Lutheran and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Crusaders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.
Payton Danner paced Auburn's offense, picking up six kills. Danner got some help from Jocelyn Law and her 17 assists. Reese Megginson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Auburn's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Lutheran, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Coming up, Auburn will take on PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they will face off against Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
