Baseball Recap: Hoover Gets the Win

Hoover hadn't done well against Kearny recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Komets by a score of 6-5 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cardinals have posted since March 25, 2024.

Hoover saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Sanchez, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Hoover's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-18. As for Kearny, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-13.
