Northern Lakes recap Nov. 7, 2012

Napoleon extended the longest winning streak in Northern Lakes this week by beating River Valley, 30-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Wildcats.

Napoleon took down the Vikings 30-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. David Yunker threw for 96 yards and one touchdown in the win.

Bryant Schlade was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 51 yards as Tory Strock's team lost to Avon. Teammate Charlie Harris added to the ground attack by rushing for 46 yards.

Kaczinski was the best wideout in the league this week as the Yellowjackets fell to the Eagles. Kaczinski racked up five receptions for 42 yards. Austin Lee helped Perrysburg's passing attack out by catching three balls for 32 yards.

Steve Slocum provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Perrysburg lost to Avon. He completed 12 passes for 121 yards and also ran for 47 yards.

6-foot-0 quarterback Steve Duby of Maumee is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1724. He has also thrown 16 touchdowns. On the ground, Matt Kregel's team's Slocum has rushed for 1308 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jordan Lauf. The Napoleon star has 27 catches for 617 yards.

Andrew Schultz has rushed for 956 yards on 130 carries so far this year.

The Wildcats led the league in scoring this week after putting up 30 points on River Valley. Yunker in the win.
