Recap: Sabetha Bluejays vs. Labette County Grizzlies        
        
		
            
 The Sabetha Bluejays entered their tilt with the Labette County Grizzlies with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. Sabetha came out on top against Labette County by a score of  53-41  on Thursday. Given Sabetha's advantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 58th, while Labette County is ranked 248th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Despite the loss, Labette County still got an impressive performance from   Hudson Baker, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. Baker is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: he's  posted at least eight every time he's  taken the court this season.  Kegan Bates was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with six  assists and two  steals.
 Sabetha's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Labette County, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
 Sabetha won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Silver Lake at 5:05  p.m.  on January 19th. Silver Lake is on a three-game streak of home wins, Sabetha a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Labette County, they will face off against Paola at 1:35  p.m.  on Saturday.
