Football Game Preview: North Side Steers vs. South Hills Scorpions

An exciting North v. South battle is about to be fought. The North Side Steers will challenge the South Hills Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Side has given up an average of 41 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Side's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Paschal last Friday. They had to suffer through a 59-0 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Steers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, South Hills took a blow against Paschal on Saturday, falling 52-14. The defeat continues a trend for the Scorpions in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

South Hills' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went North Side's way against South Hills in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as North Side made off with a 40-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Steers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
