Prairie is 8-2 against Briggsdale since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. Prairie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.

Prairie is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Caliche just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffaloes.

Riar Holloway stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Dollerschell, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Briggsdale played against Peetz on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Briggsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Prairie was able to grind out a solid victory over Briggsdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 8-3. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
