Glenns Ferry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Notus only posted an OBP of .391.
Meanwhile, Greenleaf Friends Academy scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Idaho City by a score of 20-18. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (ten), the Grizzlies still had to take the loss.
Greenleaf Friends Academy got a massive performance out of Holli Kirschbaum, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four stolen bases, five RBI, and two doubles. Kirschbaum is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ashton Decker, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
Glenns Ferry's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Greenleaf Friends Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
Greenleaf Friends Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Glenns Ferry hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .388. It's a different story for Greenleaf Friends Academy, though, as they've only averaged .253. Will they be able to contain Glenns Ferry's hitters?
