Softball Game Preview: Varina Blue Devils vs. J.R. Tucker Tigers

The Varina Blue Devils will take on the J.R. Tucker Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Varina and eight for J.R. Tucker.

Monday just wasn't the day for Varina's offense. They lost 20-0 to Patrick Henry on Monday.

Meanwhile, J.R. Tucker also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Deep Run on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

J.R. Tucker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Shockley, who went 2-for-3 with five stolen bases.

Varina's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for J.R. Tucker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
