Basketball Recap: Whitmore Lake Starts Season with Victory Against FJA + How To Watch

Whitmore Lake gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 66-17 victory over the FJA Jaguars. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-11.

Isaac Fair was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Landon Livingston, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 14 points.

FJA's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Whitmore Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-35 defeat against Pinckney on the 5th. As for FJA, they will face off against Rudolf Steiner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
