Volleyball Recap: Union Has No Trouble Against Northeast Lauderdale

Union won the last time they faced Northeast Lauderdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win.

Union got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 31-29, 25-19.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aliyah Stewart, who had nine assists and five digs.

Union has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Northeast Lauderdale, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Union will take on West Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they will welcome Southeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
