After a string of three wins, Lincoln's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by the Johnston Dragons and fell 49-7. The contest marked the Lynx's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McCain Becker threw for 54 yards on six of 15 attempts. Braylin De Jager was his top target, picking up 63 receiving yards. On the ground, Christopher Lee rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Johnston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln will challenge rival Ames at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Johnston is set to square off against their familiar foe Ankeny at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
