Adullam House Christian Academy entered their tilt with the Victory Christian Academy Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Adullam House Christian Academy narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Victory Christian Academy 51-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Adullam House Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adullam House Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Thomas Buckelew, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Shaun Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Chase Myrick scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Myrick continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Durden, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Adullam House Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Victory Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Adullam House Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Glen Iris Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will square off against Brooklane Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brooklane Baptist's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
