Baseball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-2 to the Oyster River Bobcats. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Oyster River, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kennett will face off against rival ConVal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oyster River is set to challenge their familiar foe Sanborn Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
