Basketball Recap: Raytown South Comes Up Short

Raytown South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 48-33 fall against the Grandview Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 81st).

Raytown South's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Grandview, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-10.

Raytown South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grandview, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-32 loss against Summit Christian Academy on the 7th.
