Baseball Preview: Middle Park Panthers vs. Jefferson Saints

Theo Brown made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Diogui Laynes was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Jefferson was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 23-2 to Dawson School. Jefferson has not had much luck with Dawson School recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Middle Park's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
