Basketball Game Preview: Lee Christian Falcons vs. St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors

The Lee Christian Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons last Friday. Lee Christian came out on top against Friendship Christian by a score of 67-54.

Lee Christian found their leader in freshman Jordan Wilson, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Cayden Jennings, who posted nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Thomas More Academy). They walked away with a 55-44 win over Rocky Mount Academy on Tuesday.

Lee Christian better keep an eye on John Paul Mack. He was instrumental in St. Thomas More Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 29 points and ten boards. Mack's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Jonah Kimble was another key player, putting up six points and 11 rebounds.

St. Thomas More Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lee Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lee Christian strolled past St. Thomas More Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 65-51. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Chancellors' Dominic Mack, who almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for the Falcons to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
