Baseball Recap: Wadley Bulldogs vs. Woodland Bobcats        
        
		
            
 Wadley has not done well against Woodland recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Wadley Bulldogs came out on top against the Woodland Bobcats by a score of  10-7. That's two games straight that Wadley has won by  exactly three  runs.
  Ty Taylor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk). Taylor was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news, Wadley let  Cal Hutchinson and  Mason Wilkerson loose on the outfield. Hutchinson  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Wilkerson  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. Hutchinson is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen  at least one in the last eight games he's  played.
 On Woodland's side,  Noah Waites made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Eden Ray, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  got Wadley back to even at 9-9. As for Woodland,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-13.
 Wadley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodland, they will be staying on the road  on Wednesday to face off against Winterboro at 3:30  p.m.
