Softball Recap: Sheboygan North Comes Up Short

Sheboygan North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bay Port Pirates, falling 20-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in April.

Jadyn Jetzer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Alayna Reiter also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Sheboygan North's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bay Port, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Sheboygan North will face off against Beaver Dam at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
