Basketball Recap: Portland's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against White House-Heritage last Friday, Portland came back down to earth. The Portland Panthers fell 47-37 to the Rossview Hawks on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in November of 2015.

Portland's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-8. As for Rossview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Portland will head out to take on Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rossview, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
