Basketball Recap: Academy for Technology and The Classics Comes Up Short

Academy for Technology and The Classics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 53-27 to the St. Michael's Horsemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Academy for Technology and The Classics this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-31 back in January.

Elsie Odai was a one-woman wrecking crew for St. Michael's as she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. What's more, Odai also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marina Vaughan, who posted eight points.

Academy for Technology and The Classics' defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for St. Michael's, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

Academy for Technology and The Classics wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-27 loss against Silver on the 8th. As for St. Michael's, they will welcome Santa Fe Indian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
