Basketball Recap: Bynum Takes a Loss

Bynum suffered their closest defeat since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Covington Owls by a score of 38-36. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Bynum's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Covington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bynum will square off against Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covington, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Owls challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
