Basketball Recap: Medford Comes Up Short

If Medford was feeling good fresh off their 63-36 takedown of Malden on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs took a hard 66-51 fall against the Everett Crimson Tide on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 65-59 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2025.

Medford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Everett, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Medford will host Somerville at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Everett, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Brookline at 12:00 p.m.
