Basketball Recap: Hudson Catholic Falls Short Against Ranked Gill St. Bernard's

On Sunday, Hudson Catholic faced Gill St. Bernard in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hudson Catholic Hawks took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gill St. Bernard's Knights. The match marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hudson Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4. As for Gill St. Bernard's, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

Hudson Catholic will square off against Woodmere Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gill St. Bernard's, they will head out to take on Hillsborough at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillsborough knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Gill St. Bernard's likes a good challenge.
