Baseball Game Preview: South Spencer Rebels vs. McLean County Cougars

The South Spencer Rebels will challenge the McLean County Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Spencer has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Spencer came up short against North Posey on Thursday, falling 17-2. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

South Spencer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Mattingly, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, McLean County unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowling Green.

Jax Lee made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

South Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for McLean County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.
