Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Andy Espinoza stepped things up a notch to give Varela the 'W'. Nobody could stop Espinoza as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Varela's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is undefeated (and 3-4-1 when he doesn't).
