Basketball Game Preview: Cousino Patriots vs. Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans

The Cousino Patriots will challenge the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cousino will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Cousino didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Anchor Bay, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cousino to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nicholas Farr, who posted 31 points and five boards. Farr's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Brandon Cade, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Sterling Heights Stevenson hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Utica by a score of 45-34 on Wednesday.

Sterling Heights Stevenson picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Cousino, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Cousino was able to grind out a solid victory over Sterling Heights Stevenson in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 62-54. Will Cousino repeat their success, or does Sterling Heights Stevenson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
