Volleyball Recap: Jackson Wins Going Away Against Paint Valley

After losing to Paint Valley the last time they met, Jackson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ironman/Ironladies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bearcats on Tuesday.

Jackson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Paint Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-9.

Kaylin Sheppard was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Jackson back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Jackson will square off against Alexander at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paint Valley, they will challenge Whiteoak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
