Volleyball Recap: Jackson Wins Going Away Against Paint Valley

After losing to Paint Valley the last time they met, Jackson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Ironman/Ironladies blew past the Bearcats 3-0 on Tuesday.

Jackson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Paint Valley to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-9.

Kaylin Sheppard was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Sheppard wasn't the only good server: Jackson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paint Valley only served five aces.

The victory got Jackson back to even at 1-1.

Jackson has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Alexander on the 21st. As for Paint Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Whiteoak on the 25th.
