Baseball Recap: Seminole Ridge Wins Going Away Against Royal Palm Beach

While Seminole Ridge put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Royal Palm Beach. The Seminole Ridge Hawks were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Dylan Peek's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Seminole Ridge let Chase Gray and Logan Latham run wild. Gray scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4, while Latham scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-5. The dominant performance also gave Latham a new career-high in RBI (two). Grady Endemann also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Seminole Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Seminole Ridge's record now sits at 9-6. As for Royal Palm Beach, they moved to 8-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seminole Ridge will take on Palm Beach Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Beach Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Royal Palm Beach, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Royal Palm Beach Wildcats duke it out with Dwyer Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
