Basketball Recap: Peachtree Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peachtree Academy can now relate to. They fell 55-43 to the Alleluia Community Angels on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Angels: they've now lost three in a row.

Peachtree Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liam Abraham, who posted 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordi Bello, who had eight points and 14 boards.

Peachtree Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Alleluia Community, their record now sits at 14-12.

As of now, neither Peachtree Academy nor Alleluia Community have any future games scheduled.
