Volleyball Recap: Wausaukee Comes Up Short

Wausaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crivitz Wolverines, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rangers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-15, 25-6.

Among those leading the charge was Izzy Wesoloski, who had six digs and four aces. Hattie Frievalt also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Wausaukee's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Crivitz, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Looking ahead, Wausaukee will challenge Three Lakes at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crivitz, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oneida Nation at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
