Soccer Recap: Walnut Grove Christian Comes Up Short

If Walnut Grove Christian was riding high fresh off their 12-0 takedown of NorthPoint Christian Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Christian Warriors lost 9-5 to the Lee Park Prep Knights on Monday. Walnut Grove Christian were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-2.

Connor Harrington and Josh Jones scored all five of Walnut Grove Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Walnut Grove Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lee Park Prep, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
