Basketball Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 76-39 loss at the hands of the Shorecrest Scots. The Bruins were not able to make up for their defeat to the Scots from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Shorecrest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cascade won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jackson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bruins their first taste of in-conference action this season. Shorecrest and Lynnwood will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
