Baseball Game Preview: DeRidder Dragons vs. South Beauregard Knights

DeRidder is 1-8 against South Beauregard since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dragons will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:00 p.m.

DeRidder is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since March 13th on Monday. They lost 14-6 to Pitkin.

Meanwhile, South Beauregard waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Trailblazers 9-2. Considering the Knights have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

South Beauregard's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for DeRidder, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.
