Midview won the last time they faced Elyria and things went their way on Thursday too. The Middies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pioneers.

Midview never let Elyria on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-13.

Midview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dezirae Thomas, who had 14 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Mia Laury, who had nine digs and one assist.

Midview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-11. As for Elyria, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
