Baseball Recap: Hampton Beats Knoch for Their Third Straight Win

Five must be Hampton's lucky number: they beat Knoch with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Talbots beat the Knights by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 on Friday.

The victory (which was Hampton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Knoch, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
