Soccer Recap: Banneker Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to six goals the game before, Banneker was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coolidge Colts. Banneker were not able to make up for their defeat to Coolidge from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Banneker's goal came courtesy of Awesome Umoren, who's now up to four this season.

Banneker's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Coolidge, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Banneker will take on School Without Walls at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coolidge, they will square off against MacArthur at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
