Soccer Game Preview: Parkside vs. Kent Island

The Parkside Rams will take on the Kent Island Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Parkside's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Washington as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Give Parkside's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kent Island and Colonel Richardson, and Kent Island kept the tradition alive. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Colonels on Wednesday.

Kent Island now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Parkside, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Parkside beat Kent Island by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Buccaneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
