Football Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Clarkston + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clarkston walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 52-14 victory over the Davison Cardinals. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Griffin Boman produced another solid effort rushing for 79 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Boman was just one part of a punishing run game: Clarkston was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 263 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Although Davison took the loss, they still got scores from Owen Keltner and Cortez Porter.

The win (which was Clarkston's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average over those games. As for Davison, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

Coming up, Clarkston will face off against Grand Blanc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Davison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
