Recap: Biggersville Lions vs. Vardaman Rams
The Biggersville Lions extended their postseason success on Friday against the Vardaman Rams. Everything went their way against the Rams as they made off with a 41-21 victory. Considering Biggersville has won 11 contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Vardaman still got an impressive performance from Za Pratt, who rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Pratt was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 51 yards.
The win was the seventh in a row for Biggersville, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.1 points per game. As for Vardaman, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.
Biggersville is on the road again on Friday and play against Velma Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. One thing working in Velma Jackson's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Vardaman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
