Soccer Recap: Harbor Teacher Takes a Loss

Harbor Teacher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Locke Saints. While losing is never fun, the Monarchs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1139th, while the Saints are ranked 516th).

Harbor Teacher's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Locke, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harbor Teacher will face off against Port of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Port of Los Angeles is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season. As for Locke, they will venture away from home to take on King/Drew at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King/Drew's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
