Volleyball Recap: Santa Ana Valley Comes Up Short

Santa Ana Valley lost against Rancho Alamitos back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vaqueros. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Santa Ana Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22.

Santa Ana Valley's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Rancho Alamitos, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Santa Ana Valley nor Rancho Alamitos have any future games scheduled.
