Pinckney is a perfect 8-0 against Jackson since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Pirates will face off against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pinckney fell victim to Chelsea and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Pinckney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Chelsea are ranked 143rd).

Meanwhile, Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Western, falling 10-2.

Pinckney's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1.

Pinckney came out on top in a nail-biter against Jackson in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
